A Legacy of Love

We recently celebrated my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. It was a joy to see their children, grandchildren and great-grandchild participate in the wedding vow renewal ceremony!

They were married 50 years ago in a humble home high up in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. They faced many challenges through the years, yet they remained together through it all.

Their life together has been an example for many, like Ruben and I, who have not yet reached that 50 year mark! They have proved to us all that marriage does work and that true love truly does cast out fear!

I am proud to have children who are a part of this amazing legacy of commitment and loyalty. These are words to seem to be misunderstood in the day we live, yet my children have the opportunity to see it in action.

We are blessed!Image
